Kitchen remodeling in San Antonio

Cabinets, counters, backsplash, lighting and flooring handled together, so the room comes back as one finished space.

The work

A kitchen is the hardest room in a house to remodel because every trade meets in it. Cabinets, counters, plumbing, electrical, tile and flooring all have to land in the right order, and a delay in one of them holds up all the rest.

We run the whole thing with one crew and one point of contact. Most of our kitchens are done in occupied homes, so we seal the work area off, keep the site clean and get you a working sink back as early in the schedule as the job allows.

What is included

  • Cabinet removal, installation and refacing
  • Countertops in granite, quartz and butcher block
  • Tile and stone backsplash
  • Sink, faucet and appliance hookups
  • Recessed lighting, pendants and added circuits
  • Flooring to match or replace what is there
  • Drywall repair, texture and paint

Questions

Straight answers on kitchen remodeling

Can we stay in the house during a kitchen remodel?

Yes, and most of our clients do. We seal the work area off from the rest of the house, run a dust barrier and clean up at the end of each day. We tell you in advance which days the water or the power to that part of the house has to be off.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

It depends on whether walls move and how long your cabinets and counters take to arrive, which is usually the longest lead item on the job. You get a schedule in writing with your estimate, and we order materials before demolition starts so the room is not left open waiting on a delivery.

Do you handle the plumbing and electrical, or do I hire that out?

We handle it. Plumbing, electrical, drywall and paint are all in house, so you are not coordinating four contractors around one room.
