Commercial construction in San Antonio

Retail shells, restaurant buildouts and commercial interiors, from the frame through to the finish.

The work

Commercial work runs on dates. A shell that hands over late pushes the tenant's fit out, their opening and their rent, and everybody downstream pays for it. That is a different discipline from working in somebody's kitchen.

We take commercial jobs from the frame through to the finish, coordinate around the other trades on site and build to the inspection schedule rather than around it. Retail, restaurant, office and light industrial.

What is included

  • Retail shells and tenant improvements
  • Restaurant buildouts, including bar and counter work
  • Commercial framing, steel and timber
  • Chain link enclosure, safety fencing and railings
  • Long span trusses and structural sheathing
  • Interior demolition and reconfiguration
  • Commercial flooring, including carpet tile and polished concrete
  • Drywall, paint and finish carpentry
  • Coordination with your architect, tenants and inspectors

How it runs

From first call to final walk-through

01

Site walk

We come out, look at the space and talk through what you want. Free, and there is no obligation at the end of it.

02

Written estimate

You get the scope and the price in writing, including the parts people usually forget to budget for, so you can compare us like for like.

03

Build

One crew and one point of contact. We protect the areas we are not working in and clean the site at the end of every day.

04

Final walk-through

We walk the finished work with you, write down anything you are not happy with and fix it before we call the job done.

Questions

Straight answers on commercial construction

Can you work around a business that is still trading?

Yes, and a lot of our commercial work is exactly that. We phase the job, hoard off the work area and put the noisy parts outside your trading hours where the schedule allows.

Do you work from an architect's drawings?

Yes. We build from your set and coordinate with your architect and the other trades. If something is going to be expensive to build as drawn we flag it before you commit rather than after.
