Flooring is the work we do most of. It is also the work where preparation decides the result. A floor laid over a subfloor that is not flat, dry and sound will telegraph every one of those problems inside a year, whatever you paid for the material.
We level, dry and repair the subfloor before anything goes down, and we will tell you if what is under your current floor needs attention before you spend money on the material on top of it. Residential and commercial, occupied or empty.

Build
One crew and one point of contact. We protect the areas we are not working in and clean the site at the end of every day.
Final walk-through
We walk the finished work with you, write down anything you are not happy with and fix it before we call the job done.

Straight answers on flooring
Which flooring holds up best in San Antonio?
For most homes here, luxury vinyl plank. It handles humidity swings and spills better than hardwood and it never needs refinishing. Hardwood still wins on feel and on resale if the room stays dry.
Do the baseboards have to come off?
Usually yes, and putting them back and touching them up is part of the job. Shoe moulding over the existing baseboard is an option when budget is tight, but it rarely looks as clean.
Can you repair a floor instead of replacing it?
Often. Squeaks, water damage in one area, worn boards and failed transitions are all repairable. We will tell you honestly when a repair is worth doing and when you are better off replacing.
